SPECIAL FRIENDS AT RAINBOW BRIDGE
(PAGE 7)
THIS PAGE IS DEDICATED TO THE WONDERFUL PETS WHO HAVE TOUCHED MY LIFE IN SOME WAY, EVEN THOUGH THEY DIDN'T BELONG TO ME PERSONALLY.  MANY OF THEM I HAVE ACTUALLY MET -- A LOT OF THEM I HAVE MET ONLY BY READING STORIES ABOUT THEM SENT TO ME FROM THEIR LOVING FAMILIES.  EITHER WAY, EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THEM WILL BE FONDLY REMEMBERED.

"Every creature on this Earth,
Deserves a chance to prove their worth"
The Ballad of Liberty

Upon the floor the sad dog lay,
The time to die one day away.

People she'd loved all had hurt her,
Finally to just desert her.

A little puppy, black and white,
Condemned to die tomorrow night.

But caring hearts were there to see,
That such a fate just would not be.

An angel came into her cage,
To save her from this last outrage.

The angel lay still as could be,
And waited oh so patiently.

Frightened Spots had tried to hide,
From the one who'd come inside.

But now the dog  had come to see,
Who this person just might be.

The angel took her from her crate,
To die today was not her fate.

So to the park they took the pup,
To see if they could cheer her up.

A foster mother took her in,
That day her new life did begin.

My "Doodles" died a month before,
I found this dog I would adore.

I took her home and here she'll stay,
To brighten up my every day.

Every creature on this Earth,
Deserves a chance to prove their worth.

And for this dog it was to be,
And then they named her Liberty.

PURDY
Living Without You

Dedicated to my Beloved Purdy
Forever in My Heart
********
I go through the motions of living each day
Fooling the world, but never myself,
That life is OK since you went away.

I smile and show interest, join in with the chat,
But inside, I'm broken, bleeding, in pain.
Time does not heal me
Nor my memory blur
I love and remember, the way that you were.

Your life was a joy to all whom you touched
But to me you were special, I loved you so much.
One day I will join you
When too tired of this game,
For living without you is always a strain.

GINGER CALDWELL
Ginger began her journey to Rainbow Bridge on December 22, 2008. She was a very special and loving girl and she will be truly missed and always remain in our hearts. I know she was greeted by many happily wagging tails at The Bridge and she will be made welcome.

ADDY MAY
Our Beloved Black Labrador
1994 - 2009
Addy can now play and run, enjoying a never-ending bowl of treats and lots of tennis balls to fetch while she waits for a big family reunion in the distant future.  Until then, we will miss her with all our hearts and wish her happy dreams of swimming in the oceans and lakes, chasing balls, and eating good food.

You will be profoundly missed, dear friend!
