We spent our days wondering
What destiny had in store
For our lives were truly empty
Till fate knocked on our door.
And there you stood before us
Forever ours to keep

Our lives became complete.

God missed His Precious Angel

Your little immune system just wasn't strong enough to survive everyday life. It just doesn't seem fair that you will never know the joy of chasing a ball, running through the grass, or playing with a butterfly. You and your brother, Kody, were taken too soon. I will always remember you, little one.

Kody, you joined your brother, Dillon, so you could take care of him. He was so much smaller than you. Your immune systems just weren't strong enough for life on Earth. I never imagined that little lick you gave me the day I dropped you at the vet's office for daycare would really mean "goodbye". Even though you and Dillon will never know the joys of "doggie" life on Earth, you both experienced a lifetime of love packed into a few short weeks. I know there will be balls to chase at the "Bridge". I'll never forget you, my baby.

For all the animals at the Point Pleasant Animal Shelter who began their journey to Rainbow Bridge when a gas explosion completely destroyed the shelter. Only a very few animals were saved. We will keep them in our prayers.

This memorial is for my daughter's dog, Tippy. She was 3 in 1991 when we got him, and they were best friends until he died on December 5, 2005; she was with him right until the end. I didn't think I'd miss him, but I guess I do...and watching her hurt brings back the memories of the day 17 years when my best friend, Bronson, died. The pain will lessen, but he will always be there.
